One of the most publicized legal battles in 2023 was between Riley Keough and her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. Despite them hinting that things were calm amid the Presley family, many insiders and friends claimed that the family was quite split after Lisa Marie’s sudden death in Jan 2023.
However, Keough and Priscilla made a very public appearance together at the 2023 Emmys in Jan 2024, and many wondered: “Is the feud done?”
An insider recently told Life & Style that not only is the feud buried in the past, but Keough truly wanted it to be done so that the family could be whole.
“Riley and Priscilla’s reunion is very new,” they said. “It has been months of fighting and hard feelings, and they are just working through all of that. Stepping out together at the Emmys was their way of showing the world a united front.”
The insider added that Lisa Marie would be proud of Keough, saying, “She’s managed to keep the family together.”
It seems that all legal battles aside, the pair wanted the family to be a united front, especially after so much loss.
In late 2023, Keough and Priscilla, after months of back and forth, reached an agreement that would make Keough the sole trustee.
And for those who don’t know, Lisa Marie had four children named Benjamin Keough, who passed away at 27, Riley, 34, and twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, 14. Tragically, Lisa Marie passed away at age 54 after going into cardiac arrest in Jan 2023.
